The latest Vauxhall Signum cars in stock

The Signum is Vauxhall’s large executive hatchback. Launched in 2003, Vauxhall ceased production in 2008. It’s aimed primarily at business users but also makes an excellent choice for families who like to travel in style. Crammed with equipment, gadgets and features that will make even the longest journeys enjoyable – this five-door, five-seat vehicle is both reliable and economical, proving to be a good choice in this highly competitive class. Part hatchback, part estate, running costs are impressive for a car this size. Based on the Vectra platform, the Signum offers the adaptability of an MPV, the space and cargo carrying ability of an estate, and the elegance and comfort of a plush saloon. All of the diesel engines in the range offer good fuel economy and reasonable emissions; the 1.9-litre CDTi for example, returns 47.1mpg which won’t break the bank. It’s a versatile premium vehicle that can handle family, business and leisure demands with ease. This car is certainly a safe prospect with a respectable four star Euro NCAP crash test rating and front, side and curtain airbags as standard across the range. All models are fitted with an alarm, immobiliser and deadlocks and you’ll also get anti-lock brakes and traction control. For an affordable option, go for the entry-level Exclusiv trim, which comes with 18 inch alloy wheels, colour satellite navigation, cruise control and air conditioning. Upgrade to the top of the range Elite model and you’ll get leather seats, CD player and RDS radio. A big selling point is the flexible 40/20/40 rear seat configuration. The FlexSpace feature allows you to slide the seats individually backwards or forwards to increase or decrease the legroom as required, or recline them and take a nap. Fold the middle seat forward for an extra storage console or fold down the back of the seat to produce a handy armrest.
