The latest Renault Modus cars in stock
Because the manufacturer decided to discontinue the model in 2012, only second hand Renault Moduses are now available, which makes for some fantastic deals on this great MPV. The car was actually successful, but shared some of its features with the Scénic, Espace and Kangoo; the latter two were discontinued at the same time in the UK to improve manufacturing efficiency, with attention being focused on the Cuptur. The Modus was always a higher end model in the Renault range, with refinements and styling to mark it out as such. But its main attraction is its ultra-flexible seating, which made it the perfect family car. The rear seats are housed on rails with multiple fixed points, so moving them backwards and forwards to suit the needs of the situation is a breeze. Taking the kids to the home furnishing superstore to get some new cupboards? No problem – just shift the seats around and you’ll fit everyone – and everything – in. It is also helped by the boot chute, a drop-down opening below the tailgate rear door. The Modus comes with a range of engines and transmission configurations. There are 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6 litre petrol engines and a 1.5 litre diesel, with the option of a 5- or 6-speed manual gearbox, a 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed semi-automatic.
