The latest Renault Megane Scenic cars in stock
The used Renault Megane Scenic went out of production in 1999, but the later versions of the Scenic are still often affectionately referred to by that name. The Scenic that ran from 2003 to 2009 is a practical, spacious, good-value family car with a comfortable ride. You can fold or remove the three back seats, while the back two seats in the seven-seat Renault Grand Scenic can be folded into the floor. Trims all have good safety features, and the car holds a five-star Euro NCAP crash safety rating. Engine-wise, the best overall deal is the 1.9 dCi turbodiesel, which generates 118bhp or 128bhp and returns around 47mpg; the 85bhp 1.5 dCi diesel will give you 54mpg. Among the petrols, the 2.0 makes the most sense, racing from 0-60 in 8.2 and still returning 34mpg. Trim-wise, the Expression is the winner, with air-con, four electric windows, automatic headlights and wipers, and CD player. Used Renault Megane Scenics depreciate fast, so they're a great-value buy, particularly with insurance between groups 4 and 8.
