The latest Kia Rio cars in stock
Those looking for a small family hatchback would be well advised to consider a used Kia Rio. It's a great-value, cheap town car that's well-equipped, with a neat interior and a seven-year warranty from 2010. You've three engines to choose from, but the 96bhp 1.4-litre petrol is the clear winner, delivering a smooth ride around town and a respectable 0-62mph of 12.3 seconds. It'll return 46mpg, too, but anyone doing serious motorway mileage should look at the 1.5-litre CRDi, which is now cheaper to tax thanks to emissions tweaks. Equipment on the used Kia Rio is pretty good, and standard kit includes power steering, child seat anchor points, airbags, CD and tilt-adjustable steering. Move up to a GS and you get air-con, central locking, front electric windows, alloy wheels and front fogs. On the LX, there's a leather steering wheel and gear lever, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, alloys, front and rear electric windows and much more. The Sport has climate control, metal pedals, red-stitched steering wheel and gear lever, and sunroof.
