About Hyundai Getz
Loads of space and kit in a well-packaged supermini. That's what you get in a Getz. A used Hyundai Getz will take four people in comfort without skimping on their luggage space. It’s also dripping with kit: the early GSis and CDXs all have power steering, CD, anti-lock brakes and electric front windows. The CDX adds side airbags, air-con, remote central locking and electric rear windows. Hyundai later added air-con to all trims and alloys to newer CDXs.
It's a comfortable ride with lots of grip and economical engines. From the original line-up, there's a 1.3, 1.6 and a 1.1, which is probably the best. Although offering only 62bhp, it performs well and returns 50mpg. Hyundai later canned the 1.3 and 1.6 engines and brought in an excellent 1.4. Search hard and you might even find two fine diesels, both of which offer 60+mpg. The last used Hyundai Getz dates from 2009 and even cars from that vintage will come with massive discounts on new prices, so the used Hyundai Getz is a top buy.
