About Hyundai Amica
You can pick up a used Hyundai Amica for buttons - it's one of the UK's cheapest cars. While it's not exactly a Mercedes E-Class, it does offer extremely economical motoring, it's dead easy to weave around town, and its light steering means your nan could probably park it blindfold. Buy a used Hyundai Amica within five years of new and you'll also get the balance of the generous Hyundai warranty.
On the version built from 2006-08, there's just the one engine - a 1.1-litre, 62bhp unit that's a big improvement on the old 2000-03 1.0-litre model. You won't be taking it on a track day any time soon, but 0-60mph in 14.7 seconds and a top speed of 90 could be worse.
Out on the dual carriageways, it's a solid performer and compares favourably with other budget bobabouts like the Perodua Kelisa and the Daihatsu Charade. The boot is undeniably small but, if you've no passengers, you can split and fold the rear seats. It's worth hunting down a CDX for the under-seat storage.
If you want to discuss part exchange or car finance on a used Hyundai Amica, your Carcraft representative will be happy to oblige.
