About Ford Galaxy
The used Ford Galaxy is such fun to drive, you might be tempted to go forth and multiply, just so you have an excuse to own one. It's refined, too, with a roomy and versatile cabin and lots of goodies. The range kicks off with the 143bhp 2.0-litre petrol, but the turbocharged 2.0 Ecoboost SCTi petrol is even smoother and pulls forever. Families usually plump for a 2.0-litre diesel, though, ranging from 113 to 161bhp. All have merit but, for regular full loads, go for the more powerful units.
A used Ford Galaxy is closely related to the Ford S-MAX and is just about as good to drive. It behaves brilliantly on the road, with steering that seems to speak to you, great suspension and an overall experience that feels more like a sporty hatch. There are wide swathes of glass in the used Ford Galaxy, which can result in wind noise, but you won't hear much from the road and suspension. Engines are quiet and smooth and the precise controls are a joy to operate.
