The latest Seat Altea XL cars in stock

The Seat Altea has been a permanent fixture on the roads since its launch in 2004. The XL version was introduced in 2006, and is 18 cm longer, mainly in the boot space. In fact, it’s the lengthening of the car that is the main selling point of the XL over the normal range of Alteas. Like all Seats, second hand Seat Altea XLs will be solidly built as per the Spanish company’s reputation – this particular model got the full five stars in the Euro NCAP tests. The Altea XL also comes with plenty of great features as standard that would be treated as options with other brands, such as six air bags, traction control, electric brake assist and roof rails, however once you get past the budget versions you can expect alloy wheels, air conditioning and cruise control as standard. If you’re after economy, the 1.6 litre diesel ecomotive version will deliver 63 miles per gallon, as well as being in the lower band for vehicle excise duty (£30 per year). Otherwise, there is a huge range of possible engine and transmission combinations, right up to the 2.0 litre petrol and diesel engines and a 7-speed direct shift gearbox.
