Renault Clio sales ''driving firm''s strong performance''
Motorists interested in purchasing a used Renault Clio have learned that the vehicle was among the top-selling cars in Europe during May.
According to data from automotive intelligence provider Jato Dynamics, sales of the vehicle were particularly strong in the UK, where a 108 percent increase was recorded in comparison with last year''s figures.
The Clio also proved popular among car buyers in France and Italy last month, helping to contribute to an overall 43.3 percent increase in sales of the vehicle in the year-to-date.
Overall sales of Renault cars are up by 27.2 percent in comparison with this point in 2009.
Drivers planning to visit a used car showroom to pick up their own second hand Clio have been told by What Car? magazine that the car is one of the best superminis around.
Examining the model of the Clio which was originally launched in 2005, the motoring publication stated that the vehicle is "stylish, well built, refined and roomy".
It went on to sum up the Renault Clio as "a chic but grown-up supermini that oozes quality".
