Nissan Micra ''is a good value used car''

Anyone looking for a nimble, affordable vehicle should consider heading down to a car showroom in search of the second-generation Nissan Micra.
Launched in the early 1990s, the K11 edition became highly popular throughout the decade and remains a regular fixture on Britain''s roads today. According to an article on the Used Car Review website, it is a considerable improvement on its predecessor.
The write-up praises the 1993 Micra for its reliability and says: "Go for a clean-looking Micra with a full service history from a reputable source and you shouldn''t go wrong. Its the perfect no-hassle starter car and runabout."
Described as "reliability personified", the Micra''s nippy performance is also singled out as a positive feature, with the 1.3-litre version comfortably capable of withstanding the rigours of motorway driving.
In addition, Used Car Review claims the vehicle has become "one of the best-value used cars you can buy" and three-door cars can be found for less than £1,000 in some cases, with the five-door edition likely to set used car buyers back around £1,500.
Last week, Nissan commenced production of its latest Micra model in India.
