Renault Clio ''puts emphasis on comfort''

Motorists who are looking at buying a used car should consider purchasing a Renault Clio from between 1998 and 2005, as the model places emphasis on the driver''s comfort.

This is according to a review of the vehicle by What Car?, which stated that the non-performance Renault Clios are also affordable for motorists due to their low running costs.

The review added that the "chic" supermini has real appeal due to its stylish looks and went on to praise the 1.2 16v Expression in particular as a Renault Clio well worth purchasing.

Drivers who buy an Expression will not only get all the features that come as standard on the most basic Renault Clio model, they will also have a sunroof, a CD player and adjustable seats.

"If you love its appearance, you''ll forgive it almost anything," What Car? said. "The smooth ride absorbs lumps and bumps well."

This praise was added to by the Top Gear website, which stated that the Renault Clio is at the top of its class, due to its supple ride, direct steering and quietness of the car''s engine.
