Price of new Audi A4 set to rise

Motorists who wish to purchase an Audi A4 may be tempted to pay a visit to a used car showroom after the manufacturer announced a price rise for new models of the vehicle.
Both the Avant and saloon versions of the Audi A4 are to be made subject to a 2.4 percent price rise, which will take effect from May 25th 2010.
Other Audi models, such as the A3 and A6, will also cost more after this date.
The car manufacturer said the increases are necessary because of the present standing of currency exchange rates.
Motorists who decide to opt for a used Audi A4 will be taking ownership of a car that is a "delight" for both drivers and passengers, an expert has stated.
According to Jason Dawe of the Sunday Times, the Audi A4 has an excellent level of space in the front, while its large and comfortable seats make the vehicle ideal for tackling long journeys.
"Build quality is superb and the fit and finish are without compare, leaving a Mercedes, regardless of price, flailing in its wake," he added.
