Driving a silver classic car is the best way to boost your sex appeal, claims a new study released by Carcraft. One thousand Brits were polled to find the nation”s raciestdrives.
Despite it”s classic, cute image, the Mini came bottom of the heap in the sex appeal stakes, so size obviously matters when it comes to attractive motors. Aside from which colour grabs the most attention, the Carcraft survey reveals that if you want to really blow away the competition, drive a Mercedes – the German classic came out as the most fanciable make of car.
In a role reversal from the stereotype, white van men will be pleased to hear that they came second only to the classic car in the sex appeal league – beating drivers of sports cars and convertibles to pole position – despite their bad reputation for beeping and shouting at young women.
Julia Dalimore, head of marketing at Carcraft comments: “People tend to assume that driving a fast, expensive sports car is the best way to impressthe opposite sex. Red or black cars are often thought to have the biggest pulling power. So it”s a bit of a surprise that silver classic cars were the overall favourite.
But the love of van drivers is the real surprise – it seems that women are looking for a rough and ready partner in these times of sexual equality! I guess the age of the yuppie is long gone, so at least nowadays it”s easier for people to drive happy – safe in the knowledge that driving a van is boosting sex appeal!”
To help keep Britain driving happy, every Carcraft car undergoes a 120 point pre-delivery inspection by an experienced mechanic and each car is HPI checked for total peace of mind. Carcraft also offers one year parts and labour guarantee, free servicing and MOT if needed in the first year, as well as one year RAC roadside assistance for free.
