Job Description

As Autocentre Manager you will oversee, manage and control the day to day running of the Service Administration office and you will also be responsible for the Preparation of vehicles, MOT Bays, Workshop, Valet department, Showroom display, Retail Pitch display area and Goods In.

  • To manage, control and monitor all service administration procedures relating to invoicing and booking – in of after sales related enquiries.
  • Oversee the running of the MOT bays in compliance with the Ministry of Transport standards and requirements.
  • To manage and be responsible for the quality and efficiency of all workshop technicians, trainees, auto electricians etc. to the standard and budget controls set down by your senior manager.
  • Ensure that vehicles are processed through the valet bay, showroom and retail areas, managed and supervised and cleaned to a high standard.
  • To manage and control all work sub contracted and returned to site without any delays.
  • Ensure all vehicles that have been repaired are quality checked prior to be placed for display.

 

You will have experience within a similar role or have experience working within a Service department and have strong mechanical understanding. You will also need to be confident with excellent communications skills able to lead and develop a team to provide an excellent service to our customers.
